Gosh, what is new?

Well, I recently got back into paintball and with a few exceptions it has been a blast. While Juneau does not have a ton of places to play, we have found some that are really not too bad. I shot myself in the hand, which was one of the dumbest things you can do with a gun. My paintballs were falling out so i decided to stop them with my hand, then the gun went off. My had was pretty nasty looking but as of this morning it has cleared up very well.

So next week will be my one year anniversary with the state of Alaska. For those who do not know I work as a special programs coordinator which pretty much means I keep an eye on all the "special" cases of loans in the state of Alaska. Really not a very hard job and I get paid pretty well. I only have to work like 37.5 hours a week, which is a ton better than the 50+ hours a week I worked at Enterprise rent-a-car. That job wasn't too bad but that was only becuase of the people I worked with. If it wasnt for them I probably would have quit a long time ago.

Have you ever played Bio Shock? If you are into video games you should probably play that game, it's for the x-box 360. So far it is one of the best games I have ever played. It is a first person shooter and I can comfortably say that it has scared me on many different occasions. Which is pretty good for a video game. Not bad at all!

So we have been playing quite a bit of board games as well. Its pretty sweet that a lot of people are back in town. Rion came back and he is down for paintball, board games, and pretty much whatever we are doing. Brian and Wendy got back from their honeymoon, they had a pretty good time on their trip. They went on a trip and I am sold on this whole going on a cruise on your honeymoon thing. It just seems like there will be tons of stuff to do on a cruise. I would hate to go on my honeymoon and get bored. I mean, sure I wouldn't anywhere, I would be with my wife and I think we would be able to find something to do.

I am reading this book, its freaking awesome. It's called World War Z. It is about the Zombie War, which has never happened but the book is just sweet. I'm pretty down for anything having to do with zombies. As everyone should be....... zombies are pretty rad.

Whats new with Mr. Adam Weed

Well, things are going pretty great right now. Just hanging out, working, paying bills and having plenty of time to have a good time. I was thinking today how great it was that I moved back to Juneau. It has already been a year since I lived in montana! crazy! Life here is way more relaxed and it nice to be around fellow Christians. My walk was definitly going badly in Montana. Although I must admit that I miss some people there immensly. Ashley buyse, not much more to say then she is the greatest girl I have ever met. Josh Morley, great guy, always had good times. Will Stagner, Awesome guy to talk to, always had things to say about everything. There are lots more but I mean, do I really have the time?
Here in Juneau I feel at home, my friends are close and I feel I can trust them with pretty much anything. Not to mention the close relationship I have with my church. I really missed that living in the lower 48.

So recently really been getting into lifting weights again. I think I am lifting as much as I ever have but I really need to get more trim. I just gotta keep active and I think I will be just fine. I am trying to get fit enough to start running in some races. "I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me" Philippians 4:13 I know that this chapter also talks aobut being content in whatever state you are in. And I am!

I really need to get into the Bible more, I always say I will but it always seems like I get too busy, and don't have time. But come on, I think we all know that there are things that I do that when you compare it to spending time in the word, seems like a waste of time. Like when I get bored and just sit and watch an episode of a show on the computer.

Also recently I have been trying to get the group back into paintball, because I think we can all agree that shooting each other is nothing but fun. I just bought a new gun online and everyone seems to be excited about getting back into it. We got the whole calvary house property to play on so it should be a great time. I think we are going to try to play while Paul is in town, so that would be tomorrow.

Well, I should probably get something done at work, my break is just about over. I am not sure if anyone is reading this blog, but if you are browsing and for some reason came to my blog I would like to invite you to the church I go to. It is calvary fellowship and we meet at riverbend middle school at 10:00 am on sundays! It would be great to see you there. Another Wedding

So another one of my friends got married. Even though another one bites the dust, we could not have had a better time sending him off into the next phase of his life. Brian, Dan and I hichhiked to skagway where Joe picked us up and we had ourselves a little road trip down to Oregon. All in all it was a blast. Although I guess when you get all your friends together you better have a good time or else there is something wrong with your group of friends. Brian and Wendy had a really nice wedding and it was very entertaining meeting all of Wendy's family and friends in Oregon. Now I am back at work after a wonderful week off and so far it has not been fun. But what can you do?

I went and bought another paintball gun. Now I have three excetp one of them doesn't like to actually shoot paintballs. I am hoping to get back into paintballing but I am not really sure where we can do it. I have been trying to figure out some places but it might just be better to just head out into the woods and find someplace nobody hangs out. The calvary house might have to serve as a place until we find better. My new gun is pretty sweet though!

Another dream

So me and Larry were at this thing where we were being taught elementry school stuff from people we went to high school with. Well, One class I couldn't find where I was supposed to go, so I just started walking around the halls. I ran into larry and we decided to bail. I had a transformers backpack, he had spiderman. We were walking down the road when a truck passed us. The truck stopped so we got inside and it was Derek Shaw, my boss while I was an RA at school. Well we started talking and he showed us this gun he had. Then he quoted the sixth sense. He kept saying, " Let me show you where my dad keeps his gun." He just kept saying it and saying it, then larry said "Adam Dont do it!!" BUt then i put the gun to the back of Dereks head and shot him. I told larry I dont know why I did it, then I asked how he knew that was what I was going to do. So now we are stuck in the middle of nowhere, because apparently me nor larry can drive a truck. So I am like, man why dont we go see Karla at her school, so we walked to this college, and when we walked in there was a big group of kids. I could hear brian felix and I was all like, yeah of course he is with all the kids. There was brian felix in the middle of these kids, and he was SMOKING! all the kids were like man Brian is so cool for smoking and I walked up to brian and told him to stop it, he told me to f off. I was like man, you have changed, but then I realized it wasnt Brian, it was some other guy. Then we found karla and she was like adam, im so glad you are here, my friend really wants to meet you! So we went to this room and there were these girls dancing behind some glass, not strippers but they were not wearing that much. Bad thing was that their stomachs were cut open and all their insides were falling out. Karla was like "that one is her" and she pointed to a very attractive girl but you know, I could see her large intestines, which is not my kind of girl. So I told her that they should just kill these girls, because they are probably in pain, and she was like, why would we kill them? They have cancer. Thats what cancer is, when your stomach is cut open. And i was like, well, they are in pain! Karla called me a monster, she was like "Why dont we just kill everyone adam!" then stormed off. By this time I have lost Larry and I went looking for him, this guy in the hallway stopped me and told me that he could not let me pass if I didnt have a card with my name on it, so i found a card and wrote my name and he said that would not work and punched me in the face, but it didnt hurt at all and I started laughing and he threw up for some reason and ran away. THen I found larry and he was hanging out with this chick, and i walked up and said Larry, you never told me you had such a beautiful friend. And he was like "Dude, thats my sister" And I replied" Uh thats not Karla" he said he had two sisters and one went to college here. I told him yeah, that would be Karla, the one we came to see. and he said "oh yeah, well then who is this" and the whole time the girl was making faces, we found out she was at the school on a scholarship for the special olympics. I told larry we had to go.... thats all I remember... strange dream. I wonder what it means. Probably that Larry, Ed and Karla have this really hot sister somewhere, and Im gonna find her.

Credit card debt

Well, I finally paid off all of my credit card debt. Hopefully I get my tax refund because I am flat broke. Things could be worse though, I mean I could not have a job.

I ran a two mile the other day in 18 minutes. thats my fastest two mile ever. I am going to try to run a fast mile today, Ill see what I can do. Im hoping for an 8 minute mile. Although I dont know if I can.

Work is getting crazy, I have tons of stuff to do! there is like 20 things going on at once. I have lots of music on my computer now because of Mark. Tonight is bible study, which is nice because everyone is there. Paul the roomate gets back today, not really sure when but that will be nice, the apartment has been quiet.

Well, I should probably get something done before I leave.......................................

My EYES HURT!!

I don't know if its from staring at this screen or what. So life has been good, just working, figuring out how im going to deal with all my debt. If things go as planned I should be out of debt in 3 years or less. That is if things all go as planned. I figure I can start making double payments on my jeep, get that paid off in a year, and then when that is all done I can start throwing all my money at student loans and get that done in a couple years. It would be so nice to be out of debt..... oh well.

So Ive got a couple weddings to go to this summer, of course the first one is in May and its Bryan and Wendy. That one will be awesome, Im really looking forward to it. Then I go to Montana in August to see Tyson and Georgia get married. Then ill just stay in Montana and see Steph get married. It should be awesome.

My working out is going pretty well, Me and larry started benching 205 this week so I am pretty excited. I also and curling 40 so I am on my way to getting back to where I was. I ran a 5k last weekend but it was not very fast. So I figured that my goal should be around 24 minutes. I figured it would be like running 3 eight minute miles, so I tried to get just one 8 minute mile. It was pretty tough so I have a long road in front of me in my running.

Larry and kelly are going on their honeymoon this week and I am watching their house, which is going to be freaking sweet because they have that huge tv.

Job is going well, just getting stuff done, learning quite a bit.

New place is sweet, living with paul is pretty rad.

everyone is getting married, And im not even close......... should I have kids already? I hope not, because then I am way behind on the game. alright, i better get back to work........

So long it has been

So much has happened in my life in the past few months. Not really but you know. So I have decided to take a huge stand against this weight problem I have had my whole life and this is a battle I will win. I have taken drastic measures to ensure my success. One, I have decided to not cut my hair until the first 30 pounds is off. Some may not know this but I hate my hair being longer than a fingerwidth on the top. I HATE LONG HAIR. It is in the way and is just plain annoying.
Second, I have decided to limit my eating to eight to ten bites every meal. While this has been hard it has been working as i get full much quicker than I used to. Third, I will also eat healthier, no fast food or such.

That aside life has been pretty good. Made a new friend in the last week and am really starting to enjoy my life. While my financial problems are still here, my living quarter problem is not. I moved in with Paul Suffern and so far it has been pretty great. He likes to make food, and I like to eat so it works out pretty well.

Wendy and Brian are getting married in a few months and that is pretty exciting. it will actually be epic, i think that word is appropriate in this situation. I will more than likely drive down with some buds and see what happens from there on. Brian and Wendy are a pretty good couple, but it bothers me how many of my friends are getting married. For I do not have a wife, and I have never met a girl I think I could marry. So what am I to do? Maybe I will always be that guy that lives next door and your kids call uncle but I am really not related but Im best friends with parents. I guess that would not be too bad. ................... Nah, Ill find a wife.

I have decided to mention a few of my friends here and say a few words about them.

Joe- Miss ya Joe, wish you were still in juneau, My house is downtown so we could get Pel Menis all the time.

Larry- My work out buddy. We are getting into shape and so far it seems to be working, I feel better and look amazing.

Dan- Lives downtown as well, Good at poker. I will defeat him once and for all one of these days.

Karla- Lives in Anchorage, missed her B-day, sent her a text but really doesnt make up for it.

Ashley- Man, I cannot explain how much I miss this girl. She is a wonderful beautiful girl.


I really cant follow ashley, actually im just getting tired of thinking of things to say. My eyes hurt, and I am not a hundred percent sure.
